Happy Drop-Offs

Feel supported as you support your child – Let’s ease those goodbyes together.

Have you ever felt …

Confused about what to do when drop-offs are difficult

Heartbroken when your child finds it hard to let you go

Worried you might be making things worse

Guilty leaving your child when they are upset

Frustrated that it is so hard for your child to say goodbye

Powerless when your child is pleading with you to stay

Want your child to feel cheerful, confident and happy when you leave each other?

How would YOU like to feel calm, relaxed, and assured when you say goodbye?

Join us for a 2hr, fully-interactive, workshop and ditch those yucky separations which leave you both feeling bereft.

You’ll get the tools and support you need so you can both feel good when you say goodbye.

Katy created a warm and safe environment for us to share our experiences and challenges. She is an amazing listener, and her contributions to the discussions are spot-on, guiding each one of us at how to apply the Hand in Hand tools. Thank you so much Katy!”

Jana – Childcare professional

“The techniques learned have had a profound affect on our family. It was so useful being part of the group, to know I wasn’t alone in struggling. I have been calmer and more patient since understanding my son’s emotions and I feel he has responded to me better. Katy’s absolutely fantastic!”

Sylvia – Mum of one

“The workshop was incredibly valuable.  I found your approach unique and it made a real difference in our family and a reduction in emotional dysregulation for me and my daughter.”

Rachel – Mum of two

These interactive workshops have limited places for a fully personalised experience.

We’ll be exploring

  • What might be happening for you and your child at drop offs
  • How the Hand in Hand parenting tools can be used before, and during, drop offs to support happy drop offs.
  • How we can support ourselves emotionally so we can get clear about how to support our child best.

You’ll go away with

  • 3 tools to practice with your child, to help them offload the emotions that make goodbyes hard for them.
  • An adult-to-adult support tool to help you get clear on what obstacles are getting in the way of cheerful, relaxed goodbyes.
  • Personalised strategies and plans for your family, to put in place immediately.
  • Greater confidence that you can help your child when they are struggling, before drop offs, and when drop offs are hard.
  • Continued community support as you experiment with your new tools, parenting is better together.

Happy DROP-OFFS

Oct 7TH – 10AM, 1pm & 8PM UK TIME

WHAT TO EXPECT

ONE – A 2-hr, fully-interactive, intimate workshop where we support each other around our children’s (and maybe our own) separation anxiety.

TWO – We will unlock step-by-step
trauma-informed parenting tools with the focus on using them to ease separation anxiety.

THREE – We’ll map out how you can use the time with your child to support you both when you need to say goodbye.

FOUR – We will use the workshop time and space to start the emotional work we need to do, in order to support our families.

HEY, I’M KATY!

My love for supporting other parents stems from a need to be supported myself. Hand in Hand was – and still is – there for me whenever a struggle presents itself.

My passion for helping my own children with their separation anxiety has transformed into a mission to help others support their children.  We want our children to thrive when they need to be away from us, or want to try new things.

LET’S TALK WORKSHOP DETAILS

WILL THE WORKSHOP BE RECORDED? Unlike my free talks these workshops are private and confidential, so no replays. I want this space to be safe and personal.

WILL I NEED TO DO ANY PREP BEFOREHAND? Find a private space, bring a brew, a notepad and yourself. You are already the expert in your family, you have all you need to begin.

I’M A CHILDCARE PROFESSIONAL, CAN I STILL ATTEND? Absolutely! If you care for children and want to know how to support them, this is the place for you.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ATTENDING? A maximum of 12 attendees. This will allow me to give individual attention as we move through the packed agenda.

CAN I SHARE MY PROGRESS AFTER THE WORKSHOP? I’d love you to. I’ll be setting up a Whatsapp group for those who’d like to stay in touch. To share how your experiments are going and the results you reap. It’s good to remember we’re not alone.

DID I MENTION THE ICING ON THE CAKE?

RESOURCE PACK

Each workshop attendee will receive my workshop resource pack, which includes my favourite separation anxiety games and activities, Hand in Hand tool outlines, parent prompts, and more. I want your time on the call to really count, I don’t want you to worry about forgetting any of the good stuff once the workshop’s over.

Discovery knowledge.  Learn tools.  Get support. Feel community.

For you and your family

Warmly, Katy
